This year Swiss watch maker welcomes a new “camouflage” edition to their Contograf collection.
The Contograf chronograph was the key model launched by the Swiss watchmaker in 2014, a re‐edition of the 1960s classic which became an emblem of its time thanks to its innovative characteristics, in the pure style of a company which has always been ahead of its time. It retains many of the original features from the vintage model, but updated with a contemporary look and innovative details like the ceramic bezel with unidirectional rotation, the bracelet and the strap.
The new watch has two green counters and a trapezoidal date window at 6 o'clock, with a fast changing date. The ceramic bezel with unidirectional rotation ‐ available in dark green or black ‐ serves as a frame for the tachometer scale inspired by automotive design. The caseback is screwed‐in and is engraved with the words "Special Edition". The new edition comes with a strap in military green rep fabric, perfectly coordinating with the dark green bezel or the CHASSIS® steel bracelet which emphasizes the black bezel.
