On 15 June 1935, at Firenze‐Mare Motorway, Tazio Nuvolari created a new world record of maximum speed of 336 km/h in an Alfa Romeo 16C Twin‐engine, a racing car designed by Enzo Ferrari (then director of Alfa Romeo's Racing Division). Drawing inspiration from this famous episode, traditional Swiss watch maker Eberhard & Co. is writing a new chapter in the history of one of its best loved collections, by unveiling special edition TAZIO NUVOLARI 336 timepiece, a tribute to one of most legendary names in the history of car racing.
For the first time the Tazio Nuvolari collection includes a timepiece that offers the reading of two different time zones, one of the 'useful complications' best loved by watch enthusiasts throughout the world. Great simplicity and legibility make the Tazio Nuvolari 336 a classic example of dual time technology, in the pure tradition of a brand that has dedicated over a century to meeting the practical requirements of the most exacting consumers.
The movement is housed in a large steel case (45 mm in diameter and waterproof to a depth of 100 metres) which, together with several red details, gives the Tazio Nuvolari 336 a striking look and a winning personality.
