Magellan Watches - 1521 Flowers

Relaunched in 2010, Magellan watches are immediately recognisable thanks to their planetary design and their globetrotting hands orbiting around their respective realistic or imaginary worlds. The latest feminine creation adopts a pop style, a revival of the 1960s that are once again all the rage. Lit up by colourful stylised flowers, the dials are one of a kind and each calls for 80 hours of work. Their motifs are delicately hand-painted on the varnished central globe and the Tahiti mother-of-pearl surround. Driven by a mechanical self-winding movement with a 24-hour indication by a sun-hand, the pop-chic 1521 Flowers timepiece features a PVD/CVD black-treated steel case fitted with an orange nubuck strap entirely in harmony with the planet of flowers.
