Montblanc Star Roman Small Second Automatic

The Montblanc Star Roman Collection welcomes the new Montblanc Star Roman Small Second Automatic which comes with a decentralizing the seconds display to emphasize the pure and classical aesthetics of the watch and its functional qualities.

Every detail of the Montblanc Star Roman Small Second Automatic reflects Montblanc’s design DNA, while the movement with automatic winding inside the timepiece upholds the tradition of fine Swiss watchmaking. The Maison’s heritage of sophistication is expressed in the slim roundish polished stainless steel case of three hand watch with central hours and minutes, and the silvery white dial featuring a three dimensional central guilloché pattern. The rounded shape of the overall design is reflected in the spherical crown with the Montblanc Emblem as a precious resin insert.
Refined and streamlined, the black Roman numerals that give the collection its name are set alongside the black railway minuterie that decorates the edge of the dial with its Arabic numerals. The traditional blued feuille hour hand and minute hand contrast with the silvery white tone of the dial, a design feature unique to the Montblanc Star Roman Collection characterized by pure functionality and perfectly balanced proportions. The blued baton small second hand is shaped with a Snow cap at its extremity, marking the passage of time with the utmost precision. For a balanced composition and optimal readability, the timepiece’s date window with its trapezoidal shape is at “3 o’clock” while the second display positioned at “6 o’clock”.
The new Montblanc Star Roman Small Second Automatic come fitted with scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass and case back. “Meisterstück”, the word etched on the side of the watch’s case accompanied by the writing instrument’s distinctive three rings evoke the aesthetics of the great Montblanc icon that has directly inspired the shapes and forms of the timepiece to create a watch that that stands for the maison’s passion for timeless design, the promise of fine craftsmanship and the unwavering pursuit of sophistication in a distinctively Montblanc way.
