Stewart Dawson Belgravia Collection

The name Stewart Dawson has been associated with English watchmaking and jewellery since 19th century. In 1871, David Stewart Dawson founded a profitable watch and jewelry business in Liverpool. With a growing reputation in Australia, in 1886 he decided to immigrate to Sydney and expand his activities there, in Melbourne and to Auckland and Dunedin in New Zealand. Finally his business made its mark back in Britain by establishing on London’s Regent Street.

Today, this historical brand name has been recently re-launched with Belgravia, a contemporary wristwatch collection inspired by historical pocket watches.  The mechanical self-winding wristwatches from Belgravia Collection take inspiration from historical watches featuring hinged case backs.
The Stewart Dawson watch brand offers a unique way of personalisation of each watch from this new collection by offering engraved inscription under hinged cover on the caseback.
The Stewart Dawson Belgravia's classically styled case featuring soleil or enamel dial with Breguet indexes is inspired by the designs of horology masterpieces. Inside beats an automatic Miyota movement which is one of the most sought after mechanical self windings in the contemporary era.
The Stewart Dawson Belgravia wristwatch sticks to simplicity and minimalism by displaying the basic timekeeping functions.
The current collection is available in four dial versions: gray soleil with Breguet indexes, enamel white finishing with Breguet indexes, enamel black finishing with Breguet indexes and black soleil with Breguet indexes. Each version is supplied with a matching Kudu reverse leather strap handmade in Italy by Italian artisan.
The brand has recently launched an online crowd funding campaign that enables the customers to pre order the Stewart Dawson Belgravia wristwatch by backing the project on Kickstarter. Price starts from $199.
