Technotime – Swiss Made Mechanical Watch Movements and Modules

Based at Les Brenets, Technotime is a thriving small company produces modules, mechanical movements, tourbillons and balance-springs. Technotime has been enjoying renewed expansion since 2003, when the manufacturer decided to launch into making high-end mechanical movements.

Focusing firmly on manufacturing quality, Technotime has earned authentic credibility within just ten years and is now considered an extremely reliable “motoriste”, as movement suppliers are known within the Swiss watch industry. This results from unremitting hard work, a perpetual quest for performance and major structural investments. The “alternative” movement-maker belongs to the exclusive club of companies capable of making balance-springs, which are also fitted in the TT7791.50 calibres.

In 2011, Technotime won third place in the “Tourbillon” watch category behind GreubelForsey (1st) and Chopard (2nd). While developed with far more modest means than its peers, Calibre TT791.50 distinguished itself by the regularity of its rating. Fitted with a 60-second tourbillon and a twin barrel ensuring a five-day power reserve, this calibre proudly takes its place as one of the most resistant and accurate in Switzerland.
Technotime is a company known and respected for the technical sophistication and the high quality of its complete movements. It also produces additional modules such as the famous TT651, which confirms its high degree of competence in this field.

TECHNOTIME TT 738: The flagship of the brand based in Les Brenets is the TT 738 movement, featuring a blend of design and performance and designed to adapt to brands’ need for differentiation. Equipped with Technotime balance-springs, it may, depending on clients’ wishes, be chronometer-certified by the COSC. This mechanical movement is also available in a hand-wound version, the TT 718.
