Mühle-Glashütte presents Teutonia models in new midnight blue dial versions

The models of the classic Teutonic family by Mühle-Glashütte are now available with midnight blue dial versions. The dark blue gives the timepieces a depth in which the features of the successful watch family are clearly reflected. Thus, the clear use of forms is passed on to the new models with their D-bezel. With its distinct design, it borders the open face of the new timepieces. As an antithesis in harmony, the light brown leather strap emphasizes the deep blue of the dial. In a sportier variant, the new models are also available with a stainless-steel strap. Featuring nickel-plated hands and hand-applied indices, these new models get a special something from the solarization of the dial. It makes the incident light shimmer on it without being too intrusive.

Teutonia II Chronograph
The totalizers of the hour and minute counters of Teutonia II Chronograph lend the dial a dynamic touch, supported by the diagonally arranged displays of weekday and date at four o’clock position. This sporty elegance is reflected in the precious workmanship: The indices are hand-applied and beveled on all four sides. The silver-colored, nickel-plated hands and indices stand out against the dark blue face and make time readable at a glance.

Teutonia II Großdatum Chronometer
This new version of the Mühle classic, already presented at BASELWORLD 2015, shows its true greatness right down to the last detail. This is not only due to the large date display and the classic, reduced Teutonia design – the Teutonia II Großdatum Chronometer also convinces with its inner values. Following its tradition as measuring instruments maker, the Saxonian family-run company demands high standards as regards precision and reliability. Thus, in the Teutonia II Großdatum Chronometer, a Mühle movement in six positions screened and lavishly regulated is used, with in-house rotor and patented woodpecker neck regulation equipped with fitting balance cock. After the completion of the components, the careful assembly of the movement and the precise on-site timing check, the timepiece is additionally put to the test according to the German Industrial Standard for wrist chronometers. Certified precision – limited to 250 samples.
