Brillier Watches - The Americana Collection

With the brand new Americana Collection, Brillier Watches is writing a new history for American watchmakers. Conceived as a true native product, each timepiece from Americana Collection will be fully designed, produced and assembled in the United States.
Headed by Kunal Naik, Brillier is a contemporary watch brand, which produces stylish timepieces featuring fashionable spectrum of colors, textures, and finishes. For this new collection, the brand will launch an online crowd funding campaign that will enable the backers to pre-order the timepieces. The campaign kicks off October 15th, 2015 where the watch will only be available for 30 days.
The collection will be told through a series of chapters that will help tell the story of America’s history. Chapter 1, also called “The Native Watch” is the inaugural timepiece inspired by the colorful and culturally rich Native American people.
Created to showcase the stones that represent the beauty of the desert and tribal art all kinds, the watch features an intricately designed dial made of turquoise, unakite, marble tiger’s eye and more.
The Native watch will beat to the rhythm of a Swiss Made Ronda 763 quartz movement. This timepiece is fitted with a NATO style removable strap made with American Horween Chromoexcel (CXL) leather.
Seeing as how Brillier is already well established in the watch community, the funds raised with Kickstarter will serve a different purpose. What many people don’t know is that America used to play a large role in the manufacturing of watches.
When the Great Depression hit, the culture and art of watchmaking basically disappeared. That being said, each watch released in the collection will be sold exclusively on Kickstarter where the money raised will go towards bringing back manufacturing and production to America.
