Rado teams up with long-time brand ambassador Lisa Ray for new ad campaign

Swiss watchmaker Rado is launching a new global ad campaign featuring Bollywood beauty and long time brand ambassador Lisa Ray. The campaign is the latest instalment of Rado’s long and fruitful collaboration with the multitalented, multicultural model and actress.

In celebration of their 15-year partnership, the brand travelled to Mumbai for an exclusive photo shoot with Lisa, who was accompanied by her Rado HyperChrome diamonds in plasma high-tech ceramic. The resulting visuals capture her glamour and spirit, whether dressed to the nines during a poolside stroll or reclining at home while draped in black silk.
The Rado HyperChrome diamonds in plasma high-tech ceramic is Lisa’s glimmering companion in each shot. No Rado HyperChrome is more refined than this new addition with 56 glittering diamonds on the rose gold coloured bezel, encircling the dial and making it a pleasure to check the time. Plasma high-tech ceramic is born when white ceramic is subjected to blistering temperatures. The result is a tough but beautiful material that exudes a metallic shine – without containing any metal at all. The new visual campaign can be seen worldwide from October 2015.

Lisa Ray certainly knows no limits of geography or culture, being born in Toronto to a Bengali father and Polish mother, studying in England and going on to live in Paris and India. When she was growing up, a quiet life in the arts was on the horizon, until a trip to India at 16 led to her overnight discovery as a model and changed her life. Quickly attracting an international following, she moved elegantly from the catwalk to stage and screen. With her award-winning acting career she is in demand in both Hollywood and Bollywood. Her talent, natural elegance and sense of style, as well as her adaptability make Lisa Ray a perfect match for Rado.
