Chris Claire Big Date Dual Time

As a Baselworld 2016 preview, we introduce the Date Dual Time timepiece produced by Chris Claire, a young Haute Horlogerie brand, which is making its debut at the prestigious Basel jewellery and watch exhibition in Switzerland.

The brand’s mission is to provide high quality watches to aficionados and enthusiasts who can appreciate art timepieces with mechanical and aesthetic superiority. At Baselworld, Chris Claire will unveil four lines luxury timepieces ; a magnificent Flying Tourbillon, a divine Big Date timepiece, a classic 3-hand automatic version and a premier ladies line. All come in 316L stainless steel and/or 18kt rose gold.
Aesthetically, the case of Big Date Dual Time boasts a unique shape: Not round, not square, nor even oval, the Big Date Dual Time is a ‘form’ watch that embodies a highly personal vision of elegance, well off the beaten track of established design codes. In step with a perfectly controlled vintage aesthetic vocabulary, the rounded curves and sharp angles engage in an intimate dialogue that accentuates the pure design of the dial lit up framed by a pink gold or stainless steel case.

The large retro-style date literally jumps out from the dial, like an essential and effective temporal reference complemented by a dual-time display. The only touch of colour is a discreet day/night indication standing out against the white dial.

Inside this timepiece, beats a mechanical automatic movement that powers the basic timekeeping functions and date, dual time and day/night indications.
