Antiqua Watches - Modern Interpretations of Vintage Military and Dive Watches

Antiqua watches are designed and produced by moVas, but is a separate business entity.

Antiqua watches are designed as homage and modern interpretations of vintage military and dive watches. They pay respect to these watches as they feel that these designs were significant in most military inspired watches of today. They also feel that instead of only viewing these treasures in expensive auctions, customers can now enjoy a modernised version of them on their wrists.
At present, three models are part of the launch. The Deep Sea Special was chosen as the first watch to launch the brand due to its significance in the history of dive watches. Two versions of the DSS have been made but only in exclusive quantities of 5 pieces each.

The military grade titanium watch case of the Deep Sea Special measures 42.6mm in diameter x 63mm lug to lug x 40.7mm thick (first version)/ 35.0mm thick (second version) and houses the Swiss made customised Cal AM200 automatic movement.
This timepiece features a glossy black dial with gold printing and vintage coloured puffy lume to replicate radium and gold plated hands with vintage coloured lume. For front glass Antiqua has chosen ultra raised dome plexiglass for first version and raised dome Sapphire with internal AR coating for second version. Screw down crown in 316L stainless steel is equipped with triple o-ring structure.

Case back of the timepiece is crafted with military grade titanium. This solid CNC hex shaped screw down caseback with polished finish features deep engraving and limited edition numbering. The Deep Sea Special has a water resistance up to 1000 meters (3300ft).

This diving watch comes with a 316L stainless steel folded Bracelet with exposed side rivets satin brushed and polished sides. Additional Leather nato in black and gold plated hardware is available.
