La Chaux-de-Fonds based dial manufacturer Quadrance & Habillage launches the production of appliqués in partnership with Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier (VMF)

The La Chaux-de-Fonds dial manufacturer Quadrance et Habillage (QH) has begun the production of indexes (appliques), a project made possible thanks to its partnership with Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier (VMF).The first pieces are on show at the EPHJ, at Palexpo, from 14 to 17 June.

The production line is based in Fleurier, on the premises of VMF. Part of the existing infrastructures, coupled with dedicated equipment, provide the capacity for small, medium and large production runs of indexes. The VMF industrialization unit and teams at QH worked on original processes associating tailor-made technologies capable of producing flat, faceted or lacquered indexes, as well as other varieties.
Production capacity offers superb flexibility in terms of quantities and the shape of appliques. For smaller quantities and customized indexes, laser machining is optimal, whereas for larger quantities, blanking with a swage is proposed.
