TAG Heuer Officially Launches its First Middle Eastern Connected Watch Face

On 07 September 2016, at La Cantine du Faubourg Dubai, TAG Heuer revealed its first Middle Eastern Connected watch face in Dubai in celebration for Eid Al Adha. This face is now available for download on the android platform TAG Heuer Connected App and celebrates a precedent for modern calligraphy on a global platform; celebrating Arabic based art with an international audience.
The collaboration has been initiated by TAG Heuer in order to create an exclusive design appealing to Middle-Eastern customers with a strong meaning related to time. TAG Heuer appointed Lebanese street artist Yazan Halwani for his modern and disruptive philosophy.
Calligraphy is an art form that has stagnated and is very traditional whereas in my artworks, I try to always find new forms for it. The TAG Heuer Connected Watch fits this idea of breaking the rules and the tradition of an art form, which in its case is watchmaking. Engineered with Intel technology and benefiting from everything the Android Wear universe has to offer, TAG Heuer will give its existing as well as its future owners the option to switch to an Arabesque dial background to accommodate to the region as well as creating the festive atmosphere of Eid Al Adha.

The TAG Heuer Connected Watch is available in the UAE at:-

Dubai:Dubai Mall & Burjuman Boutiques, Mall of the Emirates, Marina Mall and Mirdiff City Center Seddiqi stores,
Abu Dhabi: Galleria Abu Dhabi Mall Boutiques in Abu Dhabi and Al ManaraYas Mall store in Abu Dhabi.
