Belgian Watch Brand Jakhals Launches Kickstarter Campaign

Created by Belgian industrial designers Jeroen Depuydt and Nicolas Faes, Jakhals launched a unisex watch collection on Kickstarter on 18 Oct 2016 to fund the mass production of their ‘Minimalist watches with an edge’. The watches combine pure materials with honest lines and can be worn both by men and women. Their signature edge is made of handcrafted acetate, the same material used for sunglasses with the iconic tortoise look.
The collection offers five stainless steel watches and three stainless steel watches with PVD plating in gold, rose gold and gunmetal black.  Powered with Miyota 1L45 movement, each watch comes with a 2-year guarantee and has the Jakhals logo on the front and is engraved on the caseback.
The entire collection of Jakhals watches will be available for pre-order exclusively on Kickstarter until November 22nd 2016, with a goal of €25,000 (Approx $27,738 USD). The brand offers a special discounted price of €149 (Approx $165 USD) which includes a Collection 01 watch and choice of strap, saving €100 (Approx $110 USD).
All watches deliver worldwide for free and will ship out by March 2017. The first 100 backers get the choice to have their watch caseback engraved with their initials and a limited edition number.
