G. Gerlach PZL 37B

This brand new pilot's watch from G. Gerlach pays tribute to a bomber plane of 1930s - PZL 37B, which served Polish Air Force till 40s. This twine engine double bomber was designed in the mid-1930s at the PZL factory in Warsaw by Jerzy Dąbrowski. The PZL 37B is well known for its war accomplishments, especially the September campaign in 1939 against Nazi invasion.
Inspired by this war machine, the pilot watch from G. Gerlach boasts a well designed exteriors and interiors. Measuring 43x52 mm, its stainless steel case with curved lugs offers comfortable fit. The double domed sapphire crystal front glass has internal transparent AR coating to improve the visibility.
Inside the timepiece beats a Seagull ST1902 manual winding column wheel chronograph movement based on the legendary Venus 175 calbre. Powering 30 minutes and 60 seconds chronograph functions in addition to the basic timekeeping, this movement can deliver a power reserve of 38 to 42 hours approximately.
The dial featuring Arabic numeral hour markers and transparent hands with lume applied on edges make time reading easier. 30 minutes chronograph counter with red hands is positioned at 3’o clock and at 9’o clock you can find the small seconds sub dial. An inner rotating bezel, operated by a crown at 10’o clock, can be utilised for better time management.
This watch model is tested for water resistance up to100 meters. The PZL 37B is supplied with a Milanese stainless steel bracelet and a genuine leather strap.
Available in a retail price of PLN1950+shipping charges, this timepiece comes in a solid wooden box and accompanied by a warranty of 24 months.
