Eberhard & Co. Super Limited Edition Camouflage Contograf – Special Edition Timepiece in Honour of the Oman Armed Forces

Swiss watch bramd Eberhard & Co. has received a commission to issue a special Super Limited Edition of their iconic Contograf chronograph, exclusively for senior officers in the Sultanate of Oman's Armed Forces.

The Limited Special Edition of the Contrograf sports a desert camouflage pattern on the watch face, in keeping with the sandy terrain of the Sultanate and the colours of the Royal Army of Oman.

The timepiece is set apart from the equally stunning green-toned camouflage Contograf that took the horological world by storm when it made its debut. The glamorous edition of Contograf in green camouflage, has been one of the most successful models of the year, the limited edition of 99 pieces was quickly sold out and is presently the object of desire of many watch collectors.
The Sultanate of Oman, a trading and maritime empire that straddled Asia and Africa in its heyday and home to legendary sailors and explorers, is today one of the most beautiful Countries in the Arabian Peninsula. The Sultanate has been wisely ruled by His Highness the Sultan Qāboos bin Said Al Said and has gained an enviable reputation as one of the preferred destinations for world class international tourism.
The Sultanate offers a smorgasbord of touristic, watersports, hiking and adventure sports possibilities, and increasing numbers of foreign visitors are falling in love with its authentic charm and the genuine friendliness and hospitality of its people.

This Special Edition of the Contograf is characterized by a mimetic dial “camouflage” in khaki and brown tones, with applied black indices, faceted. The ceramic bezel with unidirectional rotation serves as a frame for the tachometer scale inspired by automotive design. The case back of each watch is numbered and has a special engraving with the words “The Royal Oman Armed Forces” marking them out as collector’s watches.

Jaquet Droz Grande Seconde Off-Centered Onyx

Jaquet Droz’s latest timepiece, the Grande Seconde Off-Centered Onyx displays a striking graphic simplicity and its stylized black dial of edgy, intense black draws one deep into the heart of the Swiss watch brand’s history.

The creative concept underlying this model was born in the 18th century, at the height of the Enlightenment, when Pierre Jaquet-Droz revolutionized watchmaking with his Grande Seconde. In conceiving two barely superimposed dials, one of them off-centered at 6 o’clock and with an extra-fine hand marking the seconds, Pierre Jaquet-Droz invented more than simply a new form of mechanism: he originated a new conception of Time, whose minutest instants became infinitely precious. Together the two dials form the figure 8, a symbol of balance and wholeness that the brand known by its twin stars would adopt for its lucky number.
The craftsmen at Jaquet Droz had already given an aesthetic twist to this understated motif by shifting the second dial slightly to 7 o'clock. 2016 sees a new variation introduced, featuring a 43-mm stainless steel case for the first time, whose diameter further amplifies the magnetic blackness of the dial. An exceptional color celebrated by artists since time immemorial, black takes on a whole new dimension in the Grande Seconde Off-Centered.
Following in the great tradition of the mineral dials created by Jaquet Droz, an onyx disc has been painstakingly cut and polished to form the dial of this watch. Its deep black harbors an extraordinary intensity, recalling the mystery of an inkpot, where an author dips the quill, or the silky satin that a couture designer fashions into a garment. With every movement of the wrist, its flawlessly even surface comes alive with reflections of almost liquid intensity. This voluptuous play of brilliance is made all the more stunning by the understated elegance of the indexes.
The Jaquet Droz craftsmen cut them directly into the 18-carat white gold circles of the large hours and minutes dial and the smaller seconds dial that combine to form the legendary figure 8. The metal’s mirror-like shine contrasts with the waves of light that run across the onyx disc and bring out the delicate reliefs of the rings and bezel.

The winding stem positioned at 4 o'clock adds a dynamic touch to this iconic new watch, which also comes in a version that teams a silvered opaline dial with an alligator leather strap.

Hublot - Big Bang Unico Retrograde Chronograph Euro & Big Bang Unico Retrograde Chronograph Champions League

Swiss luxury watch brand HUBLOT unveils two limited edition timepieces celebrating UEFA EURO 2016TM& UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TM.

Hublot has been a pioneer for a decade and continues to confirm its commitment to football year after year. Whether they’re official ambassadors or friends of the brand, from Pelé to Mourinho, from Shaqiri to Scolari, from Roy Hodgson to Alex Ferguson and David Trézéguet, they, like so many others, are part of the “Hublot loves football” world. Just like the clubs, Ajax, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, which by themselves account for a record number of titles and distinctions. As Official Watch for the UEFA EURO 2016, Official Timekeeper of the FIFA World Cup,

Official Licensed Watch of the UEFA Champions League and Europa League, Hublot stands on the touchline of the most prestigious competitions and championships. This was all the Swiss watchmaker needed to design a watch dedicated to the most popular sport in the world: the Big Bang Unico Retrograde Chronograph.

UEFA EURO 2016™ - Official Watch
On the occasion of its 3rd EURO participation, Hublot introduces the Official Watch of UEFA EURO2016™ which will take place in France from 10 June to 10 July 2016. Designed with the football world in mind, the Big Bang Unico Retrograde Chronograph wears the colours of France, the organising country of the 15th edition of the EURO.
100 watches, all in red, white and blue, will be issued. Its 45mm case in black ceramic is fitted with a “One click” interchangeable strap system in blue alligator sewn onto rubber and overstitched with white and red seams.

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE™ - Official Licensed Watch
Celebrating its recent partnership and its status as “Official Licensed Watch” for the UEFA Champions League, Hublot unveils a second limited edition of 100 pieces featuring its mythic Unico retrograde chronograph movement. Dressed in the UEFA Champions League’s midnight blue, its 45mm case in black ceramic sports a strap in blue alligator sewn onto rubber and overstitched with a white seam.
The HUB1261 movement is visible through a sapphire case-back finished with the UEFA Euro 2016™ or UEFA Champions League™ emblem. A bi-retrograde module with patented automatic winding is fitted to the UNICO manufacture calibre, enabling it to time a football match. Designed to time two halves of 45 minutes, and extra time, allowing a total of 60 minutes, its central chronograph display has the seconds and minutes hands moving on a circular arc between 10 o’clock and 2 o’clock. A push button at 2 o’clock activates the mechanism and moves the second hand to the 60-second mark before it swiftly jumps back to 0 and starts again, whereas the minute hand measures elapsed time as it moves around. The aperture in the centre indicates the ongoing period (1 — first half/ ½ break / 2 —second half, END – end of the game). As for the local time, this is displayed by a counter at 6 o’clock.

On the pitches themselves, the now famous Hublot referee boards will also be joining the game. Used by the 4th official to indicate extra time and signal player changes, they have become inseparable from major competitions since their arrival at UEFA EURO 2008TM. They are now very distinctive and have a customised design that evokes the specific codes of each competition. That used in the UEFA Champions League was unveiled for the first time during the first leg play-off matches on 18 August 2015. As for that for UEFA EURO 2016™, we will see it in action on the 10 June 2016.

IWC Schaffhausen Top Gun Edition 2016 - Big Pilot’s Watch Top Gun, Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Top Gun & Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Top Gun

The TOP GUN Edition watches have been part of IWC Schaffhausen’s Pilot’s Watch squadron since 2007. They take their name from a special training course offered by the United States Navy Fighter Weapons School, the “Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor”, better known by the legendary accolade Top Gun. With their black cockpit design, attractive materials mix and state-of-the-art watchmaking technology, the TOP GUN watches have made a name for themselves among aficionados of modern timepieces.

One of the hallmark features of the TOP GUN line is the no-frills dial design and stark contrast of black and white, also known as the cockpit design or instrument look. Its roots go back to the 1930s and 1940s, when pilots had to focus on an increasing number of instruments under the frequently dire lighting conditions in the cockpit. It was back then that light, high-contrast luminescent figures and propeller-like hands against matte black dials firmly established themselves. In 1936, IWC Schaffhausen adopted the instrument look for its first Special Pilot’s Watch and thus helped it to make its breakthrough as the design of choice for classic pilot’s watches.

The second special feature was the use of high-tech ceramic for the case, and titanium for the controls and the back of the watch. IWC Schaffhausen was the first manufacturer worldwide to use these materials in watchmaking.

The zirconium oxide case is water-resistant to 6 bar, antimagnetic, acid-resistant, light and, like titanium, very skin friendly. Titanium is corrosion-proof and tougher than steel at only around half the weight.

In 2016, all three models in the TOP GUN line will undergo one modification. Instead of a soft strap, the watches now feature an embossed black calfskin strap. Optically speaking, the change is virtually unnoticeable, but leather is considerably more robust and harder wearing.

Apart from this, the Top Gun logo is now engraved on the reverse side of the case of the Big Pilot’s Watch TOP GUN and the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph TOP GUN. This is much more discreet than the previous coloured imprint.

Big Pilot’s Watch TOP GUN (Ref. IW502001)
The case diameter of the Big Pilot’s Watch TOP GUN (Ref. IW502001) has been reduced by two millimetres, which makes the 46-millimetre ceramic case more interesting for potential buyers with a slimmer wrist. For the dial, IWC’s designers decided to do away with the small, signal red silhouette of an aircraft as a counterpoise for the seconds hand in favour of a clean, uncluttered watch face. The triangular index with the white dot on either side is no longer part of the chapter ring. It now functions as an additional, eye-catching design element above the logo. The white Arabic numerals are designed to be slightly more conspicuous.
Even if the Big Pilot’s Watch TOP GUN, with its reduced dial and large cone-shaped crown, bears the most obvious resemblance to the Big Pilot’s Watch of 1940, its owner, of course, will not have to forgo contemporary convenience features such as the power reserve and date display.
The IWC-manufactured 51111 calibre, which comprises 311 components, is one of IWC’s largest automatic movements. With its patented pawl-winding system, it builds up more than a 7-day power reserve after just 1,960 revolutions of the rotor. But the power reserve mechanism is smart and allows it to run for only 168 hours before stopping the movement. This way it is certain that the watch will keep perfect time for 7 days when fully wound. On the front side of the case, the sapphire glass has antireflective coating on both sides and is secured against sudden drops in pressure in the cockpit.

Pilot’s Watch Chronograph TOP GUN (Ref. IW389001)
In the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph TOP GUN (Ref. IW389001), the ceramic case has been reduced in size from 46 to 44 millimetres. The designers have tidied up the dial and made it easier to read by replacing the triple date display with a single date indicator.
As you would expect of a chronograph, you can record times with the help of the titanium push-buttons – more conveniently than ever before. The new, IWC-manufactured 89361 calibre from the 89000-calibre family shows stopped minutes and hours on a subdial at “12 o’clock”, while the central hand takes care of the stopped seconds. Compared with earlier aggregate timing systems, the watch-within-a-watch makes everything much simpler.
The watch also has an integrated flyback function: when the reset button is pushed, the stopwatch hand returns to zero and instantaneously starts another recording sequence. The small red hacking seconds rotating at “6 o’clock” indicates that the watch is running normally. It can be stopped whenever necessary for synchronization. A soft-iron inner case protects the precision mechanism against the omnipresent threat of magnetism.

Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar TOP GUN (Ref. IW502902)
The Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar TOP GUN (Ref. IW502902) is now also fitted with an embossed calfskin strap. Otherwise, it remains unchanged from last year’s model. In its 48-millimetre ceramic case, the timepiece brings together much of the cutting-edge technology typically made in Schaffhausen.
For example, it includes the IWC-manufactured 51614-calibre movement with efficient Pellaton winding that builds up a 7-day power reserve. This powerful movement drives a plethora of watchmaking complications. The perpetual calendar with its four-digit year display until the year 2499, as well as displays for the date, day and month, takes into account all the leap years in the Gregorian calendar until 2100.
All the displays are easily adjusted via the crown and advance automatically. Two discreet aircraft silhouettes on the moon phase display at “12 o’clock” indicate the state of the moon as seen from the northern and southern hemispheres. In each lunar month, i.e. about 29.5 days, the watch’s imitation of the moon’s orbit deviates by a mere 12 seconds or so. The watch also comes with several other outstanding mechanical features, such as a Glucydur® beryllium alloy balance and a Breguet spring.

IWC Schaffhausen Pilot’s Watch Automatic 36(Ref. 3240)

Swiss luxury watch brand IWC Schaffhausen is reviving the tradition of smaller Pilot’s Watches and launching a new 36-millimetre model that is inspired by the legendary Mark 11, which likewise had a case measuring 36 millimetres in diameter. The Pilot’s Watch Automatic 36(Ref. 3240) is intended for watch lovers both male and female with a smaller wrist, who attach importance to the understatement implicit in a timelessly designed timepiece.
The dial design of the elegant three-hand watch remains reduced and uncluttered. A conspicuous feature of the new Pilot’s Watches is a discreetly recessed inner circle, which lends the dial a more structured, three-dimensional appearance.  The mirror polished bezel and sun-pattern finish on the dials, which make incident light appear to move around it in circles, lend a further touch of luxury to the watch.
The Pilot’s Watch Automatic 36 with a slate-coloured dial is supplied with a dark brown Santoni alligator leather strap (Ref. IW324001) or a stainless-steel bracelet (Ref. IW324002). The stainless- steel bracelet is made up of alternating rows of satin- finished and polished links.
Combined with the polished bezel and slate-coloured dial, the result is a perfect example of sports-watch-inspired elegance. The Pilot’s Watch   Automatic 36 with silver-plated dial and blue indices is available with either a blue alligator leather strap from Santoni (Ref. IW324003) or a stainless-steel bracelet with satin-finished and polished links (Ref. IW324004). An additional version with a silver-plated dial is available with gold- coloured indices and a dark brown Santoni alligator leather strap (Ref. IW324005).
Apart from hour, minute and seconds hands, the Pilot’s Watch Automatic 36 also has a rapid-advance date display, all powered by the rugged mechanical 35111 calibre.
The central hacking seconds is stopped by pulling out the crown, while the sapphire glass has an antireflective coating on both sides to guarantee a clear view of the display.  The watch is water-resistant to 6 bar.
Despite its dainty appearance, the movement of the Pilot’s Watch Automatic 36 is equipped with a soft-iron inner case for protection against magnetic fields.  The mechanical automatic movement has a power reserve of 42 hours.

Hamilton Jazzmaster Open Heart Lady

The release of the dainty 34 mm Jazzmaster Open Heart Lady is bound to set a number of pulses racing. Living up to its name by offering fascinating views from both sides, the Jazzmaster Open Heart Lady displays a unique architecture of both dial and movement.

With the transparency of a perfect love affair, the Jazzmaster Open Heart Lady exudes a magical sense of suspension and depth, leveraging exceptional mother-of-pearl craftsmanship. Here, a raised mother-of-pearl lotus takes center stage on an iridescent backdrop, giving the effect of a fresh, light 3-D flower floating on water. This is artfully developed with the use of a soft linden green or pristine white strap featuring a super practical easy-click system, or a gleaming five-row metal counterpart picking up the sheen of the mother-of-pearl.
The softly rounded curves of the Jazzmaster Open Heart Lady are further emphasized by a satin-brushed polished case and open dial with diamond cut bevel edge. Silvery hour indexes add to the deliciously aqueous allure of this quintessentially feminine timepiece. In a robust acknowledgement of the needs of active 21st century women, however romantic, the Jazzmaster Open Heart Lady is water-resistant to 5 bar. Hamilton Broadway Collection: Hamilton Broadway Auto Chrono, Hamilton Broadway Day Date Auto & Hamilton Broadway Day Date Quartz

The Broadway collection releasing this year pays tribute to Hamilton’s American roots and its association with New York’s legendary theatre district. The brand’s first series of pocket watches, released in the 1890s, was known as the “Broadway Limited.” In 2015, Hamilton draws inspiration from New York’s city skyline to create a distinctly modern and sporty timepiece.

In this modern metropolitan design perpetuating Hamilton’s resolutely American style, Broadway offers three distinct versions: a 40 mm Day Date Quartz option, a 42 mm Day Date Automatic option and a 43 mm Auto Chrono. These automatic models feature comfortable power reserves ranging between 60 and 80 hours.
All have a unique case design and architecture that is all about taut, powerful lines. The clean, sleek black dial faces are built along vertical lines contributing to a pleasing upward-looking effect. These lines are also reprised on the decorative ring below the bezel and crown, forming a recurrent leitmotif that gives these models their unique character. This unmistakably urban ethos is further accentuated by a central line on the dial, reminiscent of the fabled New York street running between skyscrapers. This motif extends all the way along the smooth leather strap with its visible stitching, and is echoed in the contrasting finishes of the triple-row bracelet.

The raised outer black ring has skyscraper-style hands and applied indexes to create exceptional visual depth and contemporary interest. All three models also feature a red-tipped seconds hand providing a bright, breezy and eminently legible accent. The luminescent material on the hands ensures optimal readability even when not lit up by Broadway neon signs.

Finishes on all models include Hamilton’s signature twin-faceted lugs with polished/satin-finished facets and the light play between the diamond-polished bezel around the dial and the hands. All perfectly adapted to active young men-about-town, Broadway models also display a degree of quality meeting excellent technical and aesthetic standards.

Enthusiasts can choose between the Auto Chrono option with its extra-sporty bezel tachymeter scale; the Day Date Auto with its modern 6 o‘clock calendar position providing a user-friendly display of the day of the week and the date; or the Day Date Quartz with solid back giving a cheeky nod to New York drain covers.  Hamilton Broadway’s range of detail is power-packed to suit the youthful urban travelers with a taste for an outdoor, sporty existence to whom it is bound to appeal.

Hamilton Jazzmaster Thinline Gold

Hamilton unveils Jazzmaster Thinline Gold, an elegant new version on the Jazzmaster theme strikes a new chord with the warm glow of the quintessential precious metal.

The Jazzmaster Thinline Gold gives a brilliantly timeless, reinforced identity to the iconic Jazzmaster line. It also represents a spot-on response to the market interest in a slimmer, sleeker automatic gold watch. This is a radiant new gold iteration of a line reputed for its classic, yet contemporary timepieces with clean, streamlined looks. It also offers a glowing example of how Jazzmaster models have earned their reputation for ensuring a seamless transition from the office to evening events.
Hamilton and gold have a history. The brand’s affinities with the metal known to the ancient Romans as Aurum – or shining dawn – date back nearly a century to 1923 when two models were produced. The first was a Cushion model, of which just four were made, in 18kt yellow gold, 14kt white gold and 14kt green gold. Subsequent Hamilton watches from this “golden” era include the famous 18kt “Piping Rock” in 1928.

The Jazzmaster collection fully lives up to its evocative name. It masters the art of offering infinite variations on its chosen themes. Its light and airy “improvisations” are backed by rock-solid expertise and technical prowess. The Hamilton Jazzmaster Thinline Gold, with its 18kt pink gold 40 mm case water-resistant to 3 bar, is the latest interpretation of a long line of themes combining innovation and modernity.

This watch artfully combines a timeless, silver-toned dial, lightly domed around the edge, with raised, applied indexes and razor-edge dauphine-shaped hands. The highly legible 6 o’clock date display is an unusual and much-appreciated feature on ultra-thin mechanical watches. Setting the perfect signature touch to this timepiece embodying classic yet contemporary elegance, the brand’s thoroughly current new H symbol adorns both dial and crown. And for those who like to look at time from both sides, the mechanical automatic movement can be admired in action through the exhibition case-back.

The quintessential refinement of this exceptional piece culminates in a subtly retro fine-grain hand-sewn black calf leather strap. The latter is secured to the case by the collection’s distinctively designed lugs.  Issued in an exclusive limited edition of 1892 in tribute to the Hamilton founding date, the Jazzmaster Thinline Gold is the epitome of restrained elegance.

Hamilton Khaki Navy Frogman 2016

The Khaki Navy Frogman watch 2016 is a tribute to a piece of real and onscreen diving history: the iconic submersible watch created for the US naval “frogmen” teams and featured in the 1951 smash-hit movie The Frogmen and the brand’s very first on-screen appearance.

This first foray into the movie industry, in which the company has become a leader, has its roots in its military reputation that dates back to World War I and II when Hamilton, founded in 1892, equipped the American military.

In 2016 Hamilton offers the sportier, more rugged Khaki Navy Frogman collection with a technical, aggressive edge, matching style with function in an appealing choice of variations. Fronted by world-renowned free diver Pierre Frolla, each model is equipped with a stunning crown-protection device, inspired by its 1951 ancestor with its inimitable military canteen design.

In keeping with its double billing as a super-sporty watch and stylish accessory, the 2016 standout 46 mm titanium model is clearly built to meet the high demands of its underwater vocation. Large surfaces ensure easy readability and high-tech specs include an edgy, red unidirectional rotating bezel. The latter frames a black dial with luminescent triple-facetted hands. The red-trimmed tip of the seconds hand highlights its role as an operating indicator and a vital feature of diver’s model.
Other key features one expects from a first-rate diver’s watch are all there: a tough and sturdy titanium case, water-resistance to 1’000 meters/100 bar and a helium valve to equal out internal and external pressures in saturation diving conditions. The rubber strap features an unexpected tone-on-tone central section and ribbed exterior that creates pleasing texture and color contrasts. The solid case-back bearing a scuba diver motif is a nod to this model’s maritime mission. And last but not least, the H-10 caliber with its 80-hour power reserve proves just as useful on land as below the sea.

In addition, the collection comprises 42 mm stainless steel versions that may also be fitted with a triple-row bracelet secured by a smart adjustment folding clasp, featuring a convenient and stylish diving extension. These models are available in two colors with a blue or black bezel (as well as matching dial and strap) to suit individual tastes.

In an eye-catching salute to a proud tradition of diving heroes, the 2016 Khaki Navy Frogman watch comes with a dedicated packaging inspired by a typical navy porthole.

Aerowatch Renaissance 7 Time Zones

The Renaissance “7 Time Zones” is a new mechanical Aerowatch model that in addition to local time also displays the time in 6 of the world's major cities. The concept of this exceptional timepiece is the brainchild of Fred-Eric Bolzli, horological engineer and co-proprietor of the family-owned Aerowatch company.

The “7 Time Zones” by Aerowatch is a mechanical timekeeping instrument with an unbeatable price/performance ratio. With this creation, Aerowatch has definitely reasserted itself as a key contender in the small community of innovative and independent Jura-based watchmaking companies.

The movement of the “7 Time Zones” model, the Swiss company's latest icon, is integrated in a renaissance-style case that reflects the historic conventions of symmetry and proportion. Based on a manually wound Unitas caliber, the watch displays local time plus the hour in six further time zones.
Its satin-finished stainless steel case has a diameter of 44 mm that emphasizes the persuasive prominence of the “7 Time Zones” model. To match the case, the silver dial has been endowed with a sunburst finish that reflects incident light and contrasts against the six black 24-hour subsidiary dials. The watch is eminently legible. A pusher at 10 o'clock makes it possible to conveniently set the hands to local time at the owner’s current location. The displays of the subsidiary dials remain unaffected. This adjustment is needed only when the owner travels across time zones.

The lavishly finished movement reflects state-of-the-art craftsmanship. On the movement side, the plate is decorated with Geneva striping, accentuated with the vibrant gloss of blued screws. The rose-gold-plated ratchet wheel and crown wheel are skeletonized with a whirlwind motif that enriches this timepiece with avant-garde panache.

Contrary to other multiple-time-zone watches, the “7 Time Zones” offers unparalleled convenience for frequent flyers and people who communicate on a global scale. The fine-tipped hands precisely indicate the time on each of the subsidiary dials. And users who often make telephone calls across time zones will appreciate the 24-hour format that tells them whether it is day or night at the other end of the line.

Available exclusively through authorized Aerowatch dealers, the “7 Time Zones” is a unique timepiece with an exceptionally competitive price.

Breguet Classique Phase de Lune Dame 9088

The Classique Phase de Lune Dame 9088, to be unveiled by Breguet at Baselworld 2016, is a classic ladies’ timepiece adorned with one of the most poetic complications in watchmaking: the moon phase.

With its Classique Phase de Lune Dame 9088, Breguet enhances its collection of timepieces for women with a watch of timeless elegance. Its pure lines faithfully reproduce the hallmarks that have ensured the success of the House for over 240 years. Both discreet and remarkable, this white-gold watch, measuring 30 mm in diameter, features exquisitely fluted sides and a dial in white ‘grand feu’ enamel.

The latter is adorned with Arabic numerals, also known as ‘Breguet numerals’ in reference to the founder of the House, who designed them in 1783. The minutes track, made up of tiny stars, together with stylised fleurs-de-lys for the five-minute fractions pay tributes to the Breguet watchmaking tradition.  The blued-steel hours and minutes hands of this Classique Phase de Lune Dame are inspired by the famous open tipped Breguet hands also invented in 1783. Here, they have been redesigned and complement the enamel dial perfectly. The display of information is completed by a small-seconds hand and moon-phase aperture at 6 o’clock.
The elegance of this timepiece is enhanced by a series of sublimely delicate brilliant-cut diamonds that grace the bezel and lugs. To ensure its female clientele are spoilt for choice, Breguet also offers this Classique Phase de Lune Dame in a rose-gold version, and a non-gem-set version.  In addition, the House has also produced a model featuring natural mother-of-pearl that has been engine-turned by hand, complete with Breguet hands and Roman numerals, in white or rose gold, either gem-set or non-gem-set. The brand has thus added a total of eight models to its Classique collection and women’s range.

The Classique Phase de Lune Dame houses the Breguet 537L calibre, a self-winding mechanical movement equipped with a silicon escapement and spiral. As is customary, Breguet once again devotes its technical developments and watchmaking expertise to women. Visible through a sapphire crystal case back, the movement of this timepiece reveals a range of finishes that reflect the highest Haute Horlogerie tradition. ‘Côtes de Genève’ decorative ribbing graces the bridges, while the gold oscillating weight is adorned with ‘barley grain’ engine turning.
