William L. 1985 Vintage Style Calendar ‐ the blue hour

The Vintage Style Calendar is the French watch brand William L. 1985's latest offering and has a brand new canvas blue style textile strap. Like each of the line's products, this wonderful three counters calendar watch pays tribute to the iconic chronographs of the 1950s.

The model reuses the iconic shape of the cases of the middle of the twentieth century fitted with two push buttons. These are not associated with the chronograph this time, but with the settings for the date and day of the week. Two engraved counters are located at six o'clock and three o'clock respectively. A third counter at nine o'clock indicates the twenty‐four hour format. With a 40mm brushed and polished 316L stainless steel diameter, the watch perfectly combines useful functions with a retro style.
And for the first time the Calendar with the blue sun ray dial ‐ also featured on the range's two other references ‐ has an 'Easy Bar' interchangeable canvas strap for a look which fully fits in with the spirit of the times. The Seiko VX9J movement powers the watch.

The William L. 1985 brand was launched in 2015 and was born out of the ambitions of a young passionate individual, Guillaume Laidet, who worked for the most prestigious Swiss factories for a long time.
