Tate Wade Bokeh – Swiss Made Automatic Watches Inspired By Photography

Bienne based young watch brand Tate Wade has launched an online crowd funding campaign on Kickstarter to fund the production of a first edition series of Swiss Made automatic timepieces called BOKEH.  With a design inspired by photography, this is a Swiss made watch brand that promotes transparency of costs and development.
The Tate Wade watch brand was established by Switzerland based entrepreneurs Wade Park and Stephan Roesli who came up with the concept of a watch back in 2015, where they wanted to reshape the Swiss watch making practice and to deliver the best value to end users.
The team at Tate Wade have strived to create the classic wristwatch, complimented by contemporary touches. They designed a completely bespoke and unique case and crown to house the mechanical heart and immersive multi-layer dial.  Measuring 42mm diameter the watch case is available in three finishings: Stainless steel, Black PVD or Gun Metal PVD.
Tate Wade has chosen the most popular ETA 2824 self winding movement to equip its debut watch collection. The beating heart of the celebrated automatic movement can be admired through a small mineral glass window on the screwed case back, which also features an engraved quote; “Carpe Momentum” .
Tate Wade Kickstarter campaign was launched on 2May2017 in order to raise 30,000 CHF (Approx $30,300 USD). Perks include a special price of 439 CHF (Approx $440 USD) which includes an early bird BOKEH watch, saving 271CHF. Kickstarter backers will also receive a 2 year warranty and free shipping worldwide.
