Ulysse Nardin Marine 1846

This new edition from Ulysse Nardin Marine Collection pays tribute to the glorious past of award winning Le Locle based Swiss luxury watch manufacture renowned for marine and pocket chronometers since its establishment in 1846.

Based on the legendary 1996 timepiece, first introduced for the 150th anniversary of the brand, this Marine 1846 updates it with silicium technology and a Grand Feu enamel dial. The self-winding UN-118 Chronometer movement is entirely designed and produced in-house by the Swiss watchmaker, and is completed by a 60-hour power reserve, and a forward and backward quick-set date.
Like its predecessor, its vintage design, in a slightly larger 41 mm case bears the classic traits of the Marine collection: Roman numerals, a fluted bezel and excellent water resistance.

On the enamel dial, the small seconds, date and power reserve indicator are joined by the historic marine chronometer hands and logo. A final gesture to the past is found on the case-back, where the gold medals won by historic Ulysse Nardin timepieces are proudly listed.
