Mahameru Automatic by NAM Watch Company

After their successful debut into the micro-watch industry with a Kickstarter campaign in August 2015, Indonesia based NAM Watch Company is presenting its latest watch collection, the Mahameru Automatic.

This new timepiece is named after Mahameru, one of the largest and highest mountains in Indonesia. This dress watch takes inspiration from the classic watches of 1950s like 1954 Omega Seamaster, 1959 Rolex Tudor, and 1954 Ulysse Nardin.
Equipped with a Miyota- self winding movement, the Mahameru automatic comes dressed in a 39mm diameter 316L stainless steel case featuring a double AR coated sapphire crystal front glass and a see through caseback. Thickness of the case is 11.8mm and lug to lug width is 47mm. The Mahameru Automatic watch has a water resistant up to 100 meters. Positioned between 4 and 5 markers, crown of the watch is engraved with the initial letter “N” from NAM at its side.
The brand offers 5 dial versions of this classic dress watch. Dial colors vary with the combination of baton-style hour markers and Arabic numeral 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock hour markers with applied indices, making for a slightly dressier look. The dial boasts the brand logo at 12 o'clock and the small seconds dial down at 6 o'clock. The radial guilloche pattern on the sub dial makes the watch face more attractive.

Mahameru is powered by Miyota 8245 which is a non-hacking twenty-one (21) jewels with an accuracy of -20 to +40 seconds per day, and a power reserve of over 40 hours which can be seen through the back case that engraved with NAM logo on the rotor.
The sword styled hour and minute hands  match nicely with the hour markers. The Mahameru will feature a black leather band with 316 stainless steel buckle, while the red gold plated model comes on a brown leather strap.
