TAG Heuer Supports High Diving Champion Orlando Duque and Unveils a Short Film Showing His Latest Exploits

On 01 November, a selected group of sport and lifestyle media gathered at the TAG Heuer Pop Up Store at the Andino Shopping Mall of Bogota. Orlando Duque, high diving champion who has won eleven world titles in total, was the special guest of this press preview hosted by Carlos Ariza, General Manager of Stenthor, TAG Heuer’s local agents. At the gathering was unveiled the master of cliff diving’s new short film shot at the Colombian Caribbean island of San Andres.
This is the first movie of Orlando Duque’s new series project in collaboration with the Colombian National Navy. This film project is driven by Orlando’s constant search for unique worldwide diving spots and his passion for the most challenging scenarios to perform its world-famous jumps. In the film we can see the high-diving world champion jumping off the Colombian National Navy helicopter “ARC 20 de julio” located 22 meters high wearing his TAG Heuer Aquaracer Calibre 5 rubber strap. It also shows Orlando Duque taking a walk with his Heuer 01 red rubber strap experiencing the island’s incredible mosaic of cultures and its particular joy stamp.
With his natural talent and unbreakable perseverance, Orlando Duque won eleven world titles championships and six of them at the World Cup, three from the WHDF World Champions, one at FINA World Championships in Barcelona 2013 and one at the Red Bull Cliff Diving. He entered the Guinness Book of Records when he achieved the perfect score, 10 out of 10 in the 2000 World Cup. He debuted in the movie "9 Dives" doing the highest jump of his career off an Italian bridge from 34 meters high.

This press screening was the first one of a series of events to take place at the new TAG Heuer Pop Up located in the Centro Andino Mall: Ak. 11 #82-71, Bogotá, Cundinamarca, Colombia. The pop up is open to the public until the end of the year from 10 am to 9 pm.
